Precautions when using the climbing frame Posted by : admin / Posted on : Oct 14, 2021

The main components of the climbing frame include upper and lower load-bearing beams, vertical keels, guide rails, corner columns, wall-attached supports, lifting hangers, electric hoists, protective nets, steel plate punching nets, pattern keel plates, steel mesh keel plates, rigid supports The working principle of the climbing frame is to fix (attach) the specially designed lifting mechanism to the building, and connect the scaffold to the lifting mechanism. Together, they can move relative to each other, and the scaffold can be raised or lowered through the power equipment fixed on the lifting mechanism, so as to realize the scaffold climbing or lowering.

The attachment support of the climbing frame is a very important accessory. Once the double nut of the support screw is not set in place, the concrete contaminates the thread, and the thread is intentionally not exposed; part of the support is overhangs, and the upward pull rod is not installed in time; The unreasonable location of the bolt holes will cause great harm. When using the climbing frame, it must be operated properly. Let's talk about the specific precautions when using the climbing frame.

Precautions for the use of climbing frame:
1) The climbing frame must not be overloaded, and concentrated loads with small volumes and heavy weights must not be used. Such as: setting up water tanks with water for concrete maintenance, centralized stacking of materials, etc.;
2) The following illegal operations are prohibited: no overloading, no formwork brackets, cable wind ropes, concrete and mortar pumping pipes, etc. fixed on the scaffold; it is strictly forbidden to hang lifting equipment, arbitrarily dismantle structural parts or loose connections, dismantle or Move the safety protection facilities on the frame, collide or pull the scaffold when lifting components; the material platform in use is still connected with the frame; push the cart on the scaffold;
3) The wall bolts of the climbing frame should be tightened firmly (torque 700~800N.m). Detection method: An adult worker uses his own weight to fasten the bolt with a 1.0-meter afterburner bar until it is tightened.
4) During the construction period, regularly check the Anti twist wire rope and climbing frame connecting bolts. If the connecting bolts are found to be tripped or the frame deformed, they should be dealt with in time.
5) For each lifting, the wall bolts must be strictly inspected before use. If cracks or thread damage are found, they must be replaced.
6) Clean up the sundries, garbage, and obstacles on the shelf in time.
7) Bolt connections, lifting power equipment, anti-tilting devices, anti-falling devices, electric control equipment, etc. should be maintained at least once a month.
8) It is forbidden to carry out the lifting and dismantling of the climbing frame in severe weather such as strong wind, heavy rain, heavy snow, dense fog, etc. above grade 5 (including grade 5). And should take necessary reinforcement measures or other emergency measures for the climbing frame body in advance. For example, use steel pipes and fasteners to tie the upper cantilevered part of the frame to the building, and evacuate all construction live loads on the frame. It is forbidden to carry out the lifting operation of the climbing frame at night.
9) When the attached lifting scaffolding is out of service for more than 3 months, reinforcement measures should be taken in advance; such as adding temporary ties, anti-overturning devices, fixing all components, etc., to ensure safety during the shutdown; the scaffolding is out of service for more than 1 month or When resuming work after a strong wind of level 6 or higher, inspection should be carried out and it can be used after confirming that it is qualified.

The main reason for the climbing frame is to greatly save the steel pipes and structural parts materials, and the higher the floor, the greater the saving. Corresponding to this is not only the cost of material leasing turnover, but also the labor costs during installation and dismantling, transportation costs, and later inspection and maintenance costs. In addition, there is a major reduction in the cost of using tower cranes.
